«Orionas» Day Centre

The Day Treatment Centre for Children and Adolescents is a Mental Health Unit which provides services for children and adolescents with mental health problems, aged 11-16 years.

The mental health problems encountered by adolescents may cover a wide range of difficulties. Because of these difficulties, in conjunction with the deficiencies inherent in the special programmes and services in the field of prevention and psychological support, these adolescents may find themselves excluded from the educational system, and thus run a greater risk of facing more severe psychological problems and social marginalisation.

The aim of the Day Centre services is to offer therapeutic treatment for adolescents with mental health problems through its daily program. This program consists of group work, creative activities and art therapy, pedagogy , social rehabilitation and school, along with individual therapy, family therapy and therapy for parents.
